Watching CHOPPED has been a guilty pleasure of mine for years…in fact, I learned about Chef Scott Conant from the show. I always loved how particular he was with his pasta critiques. When I discovered he had his own restaurant in NYC…I couldn’t wait to try Scarpetta. Needless to say, I was NOT disappointed and have been going almost every visit since. These shots are from the newer location on Madison Ave, but both spots are virtually the same. You can expect the same mind-blowing wine list, house-made pasta and superlative service at any location.
PS - Do me a favor and make sure to order the short rib & bone marrow agnolotti (shown above). It sounds a little weird, but I am drooling just thinking about it.
